There are so many tips and tricks to having the best day at Cedar Point so here are 5 tips to make your life a bit easier when heading to Sandusky.

Pack Lightly

Avoid bringing large backpacks into the park because you will be required to purchase lockers throughout the day. Take a small belt bag with the essentials such as your phone, a credit card, ID, sunscreen, and your car key. Remember, Cedar Point is cashless! You can even input your credit/debit cards and your ID onto your Google or Apple wallet to minimize what you bring even more!

This isn’t the exact bag that I use, but it is very close. I LOVE my adidas crossbody because I can wear it on my shoulder and then wear it as a belt bag when I get on rides.

Drop a Pin At Your Parking Spot

The Cedar Point parking lot is HUGE. Don’t forget to save your parking spot to save yourself the trouble after a long day of walking and riding coasters! You can do this using the Cedar Point app or on Google Maps!

Make a Plan

Cedar Point has a lot to offer and you’ll want to maximize your day. While you don’t have to do a ton of research, taking the time to decide what your *must do* attractions and experiences will be. This will make sure that when you leave at the end of the day you aren’t disappointed that you missed out on some of the higher ticket rides.

Go Left and Head to the Back

Most people who travel to Cedar Point head for the attractions at the front of the park, the locals head straight to the back. The wait times will be the shortest first thing in the morning. There’s something about walking through Frontier Town by yourself first thing in the morning!

Avoid Eating at Regular Meal Time

When traveling to Cedar Point, time is your most valuable resource and there’s few things more frustrating than wasting your time waiting in line for lunch or dinner. Avoid the crowds and make the most of the hours that you have in your day!
